MUSC Longford October Newsletter
Message From Our Club President
Seamus Gill
Welcome Member's to our club's very first newsletter.
We find ourselves 6 games into the Premier League season, 9 games in total including further Domestic and European ties and we've been largely underwhelming so far but things can only get better.
Already our injury list is a mile long so lets hope we get these lads back soon.
It's great to have Champions League football back at Old Trafford, a bright start against limited opposition in our return fixture in the competition, with our second game a match up against a more formidable side in Spanish opposition Atletico Madrid away, a tough assignment at any time.
Our first club trip of the season, v Bournemouth, is nearly upon us & I'm sure all travelling will have a memorable weekend.
Keep the red flag flying high, Seamus!

Note From Club Seceratary
Kevin Keenan
It's been a disappointing start to the season, with results falling short of what we'd hoped for.
Hopefully, things will improve soon and give us all something to cheer about!
We're looking forward to our first trip of the season next weekend, with 32 members travelling to Manchester for a three-night stay to see United take on Bournemouth. It'll be great to be back at Old Trafford next week, and a warm welcome to all our new members joining us. Looking forward to seeing you all for a few pints and plenty of laughs over the long weekend.
Bookings are now open for our next trip on 5th December vs Coventry... Secure your place with a €100 deposit. Our Christmas trip is always popular, so book early to avoid missing out. Contact any committee member or register through the club website.
It would also be great to get everyone together again in Valentines to watch a few games and enjoy a bit of craic. We'll send out messages about upcoming games—hopefully we'll see plenty of you there!
If you're looking for tickets for any games outside our organised trips, please get in touch with me. Application deadlines are listed on the club website, so keep an eye on those and get your requests in early.
We're still welcoming new members for the 2026/27 season... The renewal window is closing soon, so please renew your membership before Old Trafford closes membership for the season.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
