What a night- MUSC Longford 30th Anniversary

05/08/2025

30 years of dedication, 30 years of emotions, 30 years of friendships celebrated in style at the Longford Arms Hotel this August bank holiday weekend.

A massive thanks to Orla, Mick and every member of staff for making the occasion a great success. From the fabulous meal put on for all in attendance to the exquisite service provided throughout the night.

The brilliant Alan Keegan kicked off the celebrations and it wasn't long until each and every guest was well and truly warmed up. Brian McClair didn't disappoint either with his humerous tales, giving us a very unique version of Choccy's Diary.

MUSC Longford also held a raffle with some of the best prizes you'll ever see as a Manchester United fan, with all proceeds going to St. Christopher's in Longford.

To end the night Sugar and Spice had everyone dancing into the early hours.

All in all it was an absolutely amazing night of entertainment with a very special thank you to our main sponsor Mark Cunningham of Cunningham Design and Planning for his support with the event.

Thanks also to MFC, RND, Councillor Kevin Hussey, Kanes Travel and Valentine's Bar.

Corprint done a great job on our special 30th Anniversary programme for the night, as did DPS Printing with our roll-up banner and Entertainyou.ie provided the photo booth which went down a treat, especially with the excellent Treble Trophies from Replica Trophies Ireland.

We are also looking forward to getting our hands on what will surely be some more superb shots by Michael Croghan Photography, Michael was snapping away all night and has a great eye for the perfect picture.

MUSC Longford were delighted to welcome our friends from fellow Manchester United Supporters Clubs in Carlow, Castlepollard, Clonmel, Muckamore and Sligo.

Finally thanks to the committee for making it all possible and ensuring each and every person attending had a memorable experience.

As always your support in being a member of this fantastic supporters club is essential to what we stand for.

Kind Regards,

MUSC Longford.
